How can I check my database for corruption and carry out repairs?

To check a database for corruption:

  1. Click MySQL Databases in the control panel.
  2. Scroll down to Modify Databases.
  3. Select the database to check.
  4. Click the Check Database button.

If the database is found to have a corruption, it will display the name of the corrupt table. If the database is found to be OK, a Check Complete message will display.

If a database is found to be corrupt you can attempt to repair it:

  1. Click MySQL Databases in the control panel.
  2. Scroll down to Modify Databases.
  3. Select the database to repair.
  4. Click the Repair Database button.

If the system can repair the database it will display Repair Complete. If the system cannot repair the database it will attempt to determine and display the source of the corrupt data. Log a support ticket for further help.
